What is a subscription?
An Autonomy subscription is a flexible vehicle-use agreement that lets you get a car without buying or leasing it. We own the car. You pay monthly and drive it for as long as you like, then give it back when you’re done.
Why a subscription?
This is a radically new way to get your next vehicle.
You’re NOT buying a car, which makes everything easier. You don’t need to hassle with negotiation, title, or registration, or worry about the small stuff, like routine maintenance.
We are NOT lending you money, which makes the contract simple and fully digital. You can even pay for your subscription entirely with your credit card.
What is the current wait time for an Autonomy car?
Our cars have historically become available in 4-6 weeks. Due to unprecedented demand for Autonomy subscriptions and supply chain issues, we are currently experiencing additional delays. At times, cars may become available that don’t meet your exact preferences. You may be contacted with an opportunity to move up the list if you are flexible on options.

Is my security deposit refundable?
In a word, yes. Your Tesla Model 3 or Y subscription requires a total security deposit of $500. It’s split into two payments and is completely refundable if you change your mind, or at the end of your subscription if no other amounts are due.
The first $100 is the reservation deposit, which secures your place in line. Then, once you’ve been qualified, the remaining $400 holds your vehicle and lets you schedule a pickup.
What if I change my mind?
Autonomy is the freedom to choose what’s best for you. That’s literally why we started this company. If you decide you’re no longer interested in a Tesla Model 3 or Y before you activate your subscription, we’ll refund your entire security deposit, no questions asked. Simply give us a call at 1-800-AUTONOMY (800-288-6666) to cancel your reservation. Once issued, the refund will typically take five to seven business days to process.
